When I downloaded A Simple Cookbook for Beginners I thought this cookbook was going to be a bit cheesy and poorly written. I was pleasantly surprised to find a gem hidden behind a poorly chosen cookbook cover. Inside Merlyn's MacLeod's cookbook you will find information on how to select healthy meal plans; food equivalencies (handy for all cooks including seasoned cooks like me) and plenty of tasty, simple recipes. You will also find an explanation of kitchen measurements and how to use them.Some of the recipes you will find in her cookbook include:
Pancake Mix with a recipe using the mix (I love food mixes so this seemed like a terrific idea!)
Toad In a Hole
Quick Macaroni and Cheese
Foil-Wrapped Turkey
Peachy Chicken (Sure wish the author would have written chicken pieces not chicken parts)
